TRANSACTIONAL AND INTERPERSONAL

There are two kinds of dialogs that you need to know. They are transactional and interpersonal dialogs.

A transactional dialog is a dialog that you need to do if you want to get something done. For example : to get chicken sate, you need to speak to a sate seller. If you don’t, you get hungry.

An interpersonal dialog is a dialog that you simply because there is somebody around you. You talk for the sake of talking (“basa-basi”). So, it can be chatting, gossiping, etc.
